Why is a solid network crucial to a smart home system or just a home in general?

It is important for your home to run efficiently, therefore a professional home network is an important key factor in making your smart home operate reliably.

A strong home network is a foundation to any electronic lifestyle you would like to achieve.  Let’s take a few steps back, when you build a home, the first important key factor is a strong foundation.  Likewise, in a smart home, a strong network is the foundation of all electronic integrations in your home.

Savant Home Automation for the Sophisticated User

WomanRemoteTV

As a home builder in Boston and greater New England, you’re creating the walls that a family will live, laugh, and love in for many years. Often times though, that family will be diverse in their needs and wants, as will the next family that lives in that home.

Savant control systems can help everyone in the family live their lives more happily and safely and is one of our most elegant, yet user-friendly, products that we represent. Learn more about our smart home automation features below: Mom can use Savant Metropolitan home lighting control to set “scenes” for different situations. If she's in the bath after a long day, programmers can create a “Spa” scene for her. If she’s hosting an elegant dinner party, she can create a romantic and intimate “Dinner Party” scene all by herself. Dad can make sure his family is safe from harm from intruders with state-of-the-art security and surveillance systems. In addition, lighting systems can automatically be set to turn on and off throughout the day to make it seem like the family is home even if they're on vacation. When Grandma visits, she’ll easily be able to control the thermostat to her liking in her private guest room, as the elderly often prefer much warmer temperatures. When the kids want to watch a movie during a slumber party or have a karaoke competition with the stereo system, they can seamlessly enjoy the systems while keeping the party going.

The Goal:

Our client wanted to incorporate fine architectural details into his new home, keeping interior design at a high standard, while incorporating a full high-end audio video system for the five-floor historic Beacon Hill house.

The Challenges:

Due to the ceiling height and the layout of the house, we had to design an audio video system in the family room that is not only of high quality, but also keeps aesthetics in mind.  In addition, the interior designer did not want the TV visible, so we installed a custom automated-motorized bracket that, with a remote, would being the screen in and out of a built-in. Keeping in mind the strong emphasis on interior design, the client still wanted a great-sounding subwoofer, so we installed two in-ceiling Artison subwoofers that have zero wall vibrations.  In addition, the client wanted to use a finfer as a front door key, which would also serve as an intercom system.  The look had to meet the Beacon Hill historical requirements.

7 Ways Your Restaurant is Losing Money—And How to Fix It Technologically

9

1) People want to watch something but they're not sure if they'll be able to get their channelor you don't even have a TV.

Solution? You're under-utilizing your TV and your cable package (which most people no longer have). You're a sports bar, but you only play sports games. Which is logical. But in this market, you need to do things that set you apart from the 12 other sports bars surrounding you. So many girls throw "The Bachelor" show parties in their apartments. Why not throw one at your business? And trust me—build your field for women and the men will come. Get creative. Make a calendar online of what you'll be showing, and with extra TV's leftover, people can sign up to use them for certain times (and add passive income to your business).
